it was the right thing to do, doing the right thing is a good thing, and I hadn't done a whole lot of either up to that point

after almost 8 years, I've only scratched the surface of the fun that can be had in Jeju and in Korea

"He would be in Jem's room all night, and he would be there when Jem waked up in the morning" - To Kill a Mockingbird

Dr. Cox:
You know, that's probably the dumbest thing anybody's said to me around here in a long time. There's nothing wrong with a one-hitter, there, Barbie. In fact, it's miraculous. And I won't have you of all people cheapen what should be an endless pursuit of perfection just because you want the world to laugh with you tonight. Now, call it.
Elliot: [bitterly, as she pulls off her gloves] Time of death: 11:55.
Dr. Cox: Good girl. Better go get yourself a cup of coffee -- new game starts in five minutes.      -Scrubs

learn Korean. embrace the cultural differences

we're not so different

the amount fun people have participating in the events and it's all for a worthy cause  /  there's not enough time to do everything that could be done.

there are so many: seeing one team after another register for BVB3 months in advance was really the first sign that we had something special - and the teams were made up of strangers. Then of course there were the orphanage drives, Lisa Kelley, 한지연, but the one that hit home the most, the one that was the most personal was Operation Drumstick.

March 11th, 2009 (Day 1).

Jeju Furey is not the exception, it's a model to follow. Go out and make it happen in your community. Have an idea? Test it out and attach a worthy cause to it. Or the other way around; have a worthy cause? Create fun events and activities heavy on inclusive participation to attract people to your cause. Keep in mind, "It's not what you do but why you do it." Already doing fun stuff? Now, do it for charity.
